Game Description:
'Winkle's Wedding' is actually more of a party game than a true card game. First published in the 1920's it uses the simple idea of supplying all the players with random cards which contain a selection of words. One player then reads the story of 'Winkle's Wedding', which contains a number of blanks where words should be. Each time a blank comes up, the next player must say the word on their card - often with hilarious results!
Although the humour in the game is definitely 'of its time', the game still never fails to liven up any party and is guaranteed to raise a laugh.
The vintage 'Winkle's Wedding' game we have for sale, pictured on his page, dates from the late 1940's. It is complete and in good, used condition.

The game is complete and good condition throughout. The cards are in good condition. A few of them have only minor wear, such as minor marking, and none are creased or damaged. The box has very little wear and only slight rubbing to the edges. The cover of the story book ihas come unstuck but is not torn and can easily be re-attached if required.
