Vintage Board Game - by Denys Fisher(1975)

Game Description:
'Up Periscope' is a classic game from the 1970's where players take the role of submarine captains trying to destroy their opponents shipping.
The game is a 3-D development of 'Battleships, with added rules such as movement of the playing pieces, and the added twist of having to physically spot enemy shipping using the real periscope.
Although very popular in the 1970's, these games are now very hard to find in good condition. The game we currently have for sale, pictured on this page is complete and, apart from some storage wear to the box, in superb condition throughout.
No. of Players:
For 2 players. Age 7+
Condition:
Board: Mint condition
Periscope: Mint condition
Ships: Excellent condition (some paint loss to two destroyers)
Box: Average - Good
The board and periscope are in mint condition. The ships areall in excellent condition, although the two destroyers do have some paint loss. Owing to shortages at the factory, some games were issued with painted merchant ships in lieu of the standard destoyer pieces. This is the reason that the destoyers have some paint loss.
The large box is in average to good condition. It has some storage wear, which is common with this type of large box, but nothing too serious and is perfectly useable. There is a small tear to one side of the box, which has been neatly repaired with clear tape, and there is some indentation to the lid surface. However, the lid graphics are bright and unmarked.
