Game Description:
'Trains' is a railway-themed card game made by Pepys. This edition dates from around 1960 and features some lovely illustrations of steam trains from the 1950's. The illustrations for the cards were provided by Ian Allan, originator of the 'Locospotters' Club.
The game is normally played by four players, in pairs, but there are also rules included for 2 and 3-player games. The object of the game is to be the first pair or player to complete a train journey by 'travelling' the exact distance shown on their route card.
Distances between stations are completed by collecting train cards, from the correct region, which add up to the distance quoted on the route card.
