Vintage Subbuteo Table Soccer Football Game (c. 1970)

This game is a vintage Subbuteo 'International Edition' Table Soccer set with floodlights, dating from the early 1970's.
This set, which includes the classic 'heavyweight' players, was the largest set, apart from the hugely expensive World Cup edition, that was produced at the time. The 'International Edition' is now very hard to find, particularly in this condition.
The set includes a great combination of teams and accessories - including three teams (the two standard red/white and blue/white Subbuteo teams plus the West Germany team), pitch, goals,flags, three goalkeepers, two balls, floodlights, TV tower and commentators, England flag, referees and linesmen, corner flags, and the original rules.
The set we currently have for sale, pictured on this page, is complete (the pitch and rules are present, but not shown in the picture) and in superb condition throughout.

All parts of the set are in excellent condition and appear to have had very little use.
The players are of the classic heavyweight type - the standard teams have moulded bases and the West German team have the traditional slotted bases. They are all in excellent condition with no breaks or repairs. The goalkeepers have the original wire control rods.
The goals, pitch, flags, balls and figures are all in excellent condition, as is the rules leaflet.
The lights are in excellent condition. They have not been tested but we believe they are in working condition.
The box is in excellent condition with very little wear. The only 'defect' is that one corner has been neatly reinforced with clear tape, but apart from this, it is virtually 'as new'. They rarely come along in this condition!
