'Stumpz' is an intriguing cricket board game dating from the 1930's. Designed to recreate test match cricket between England and Australia.
The rules allow for the bowler to decide what type of delivery he wants to bowl, even down to deciding what type of spin to impart, and the batsmen to decide what type of stroke he wants to play.
The results of each are then determined by the cards (there is one pack for the batsman and one for the bowler) but both player's choices will influence the success or failure of their delivery or stroke.
The game we currently have for sale, pictured on this page, dates from the early 1930's and is in superb condition. The game is complete and appears to be unused.
