This vintage, 1500 piece, wooden jigsaw puzzle is one the Victory 'Gold Box - Artistic' series of puzzles.
These puzzles are well known for being very well made...and very challenging!
They were supplied from new without a reference picture, making the challenge even more difficult.

The puzzle dates from the late 1950's or early 1960's and is a beautiful picture featuring a landscape scene.
This puzzle measures 40" x 24" and looks absolutely stunning when completed. It includes a large number of whimsies (figurals) - see picture below.
The jigsaw puzzle we are selling, pictured at the bottom of this page, is complete and in very good condition. There are two pieces which have tiny chips on the edge, but they are so small that they are not really noticeable when the puzzle is complete.
The puzzle comes complete with its original box. The box has one corner seam split and neatly repaired with clear tape, but is otherwise in very good condition.
