‘Spin Golf' is one of the earliest known golf board games and is now a collector’s item.
The game contains a fold-out, mounted board which represents an imaginary golf course - complete with bunkers!
The five different clubs - Brassie (Driver), Mid-Iron, Mashie, Niblick and Putter - are represented by heavy, solid metal spinners which each give a different range of shots for the club thye represent.
Players select a club, spin the spinner to see how far they have hit the ball, and then mark the distance on the board with their ball marker.
Naturally the idea of the game is to complete the 9-hole course in as few shots as possible.
The game we are selling, pictured on this page, is an original edition from around 1910.
The game is complete (one ball marker is a replacement) and is in excellent condition.
Players:
For 1 to 4 players.
Condition:
Board: Excellent

The game components are generally in excellent condition and the game appears to have very little use. One of the ball markers has been repalced with a plastic marker but this doesn't affect the game in any way. The box has some storage wear (split corner etc.) but as can be seen from the photos is in good condition for its age.
