This is a rare edition of 'Snap', the children's card game, made by Chad Valley in the early 1930's.
It features period colour illustrations of various tradesmen, including soldiers, sailors, coal merchant, policeman, railway guard, newspaper seller, ice-cream vendor, jockey, trawlerman, navvy - and of course the ever-present golly!
The cards are the old-style square cut cards abd are in remarkably good condition. They have very little wear and are exceptionally good for their age.
The game is complete - even down to the original rules card. Apart from wear to the box it is in excellent condition.
Please note - the box for this game, although from the same period, may not be the original box that came with the game.
