Description:
This is an original vintage Scalextric set from the mid 1960's. It comes complete with the original track, cars (Lotus and Cooper Fomula 1 cars), controllers, transformer and original literature.
The set we are selling, pictured on this page, is (apart from wear to the box) in very good condition and in full working order.
PLEASE NOTE - This set comes complete with a vintage 'Smoothflow' transformer which is in excllent condition and full working order. (A transformer was not originally included with this set).

Condition Notes:
The track, cars, controllers etc. are all in very good to excellent condition. The brushes on the cars could do with replacing (not surprising after nearly 50 years!) but the cars are in full working order.
As usual with these sets, the box has not aged particularly well. The lid is in a poor condition, with tears and split corners. It may be possible to neatly tape the corners.
The literature is in generally in very good condition. The only leaflet in poor condition is the track layouts leaflet. It is still useable but does have some holes and tears. The set still has the original printed Scalextric envelope to keep the leaflets in.
