Game Description:
'Rail Race' is a fantastic family board game, originally published by Spear's at the end of the 1940's.
At the beginning of the game, each player is dealt random destinations and they must plan their route, travel around the rail network of Great Britian, visiting each destination, and return to their starting station before their competitors.
Of course, it's not quite as simple as that - events will conspire to make you have to change your route.
The large game board features a detailed map of the rail network of 1940's and 1950's
Britain, and the cards feature interesting facts about various British towns and cities.
The game we currently have for sale, pictured on this page, dates from around 1950. The game is complete and in excellent condition.
