Game Description:
'L'Attaque' was originally a French strategy war game that was first produced around the beginning of the 20th century.
It gained popularity in the UK when it was the first in a series of classic war games released by H.P.Gibson & Sons in the 1930's - the others being 'Tri-Tactics', 'Dover Patrol' and 'Aviation'.
All of the games use similar mechanics, but L'Attaque is the simplest and most popular. With a variable set-up, no dice and very little luck involved, the game requires strategy and skill and plays differently every time.
This edition of L'Attaque dates from the early to mid 1970's. The game we are selling, pictured on this page, is complete and, apart some minor storage wear to the box, in very good condition.
