Game Description:
It is the end of the 18th century and Paris is in the grip of the French Revolution...
Each day the nobles are lined up and taken to the dreaded guillotine.
Although it has a macabre subject, ‘Guillotine’ is a light-hearted card game where players take turns ‘executing’ (collecting) nobles. Each noble is worth points, positive or negative, depending on their importance.
The game is played over three ‘days’ (rounds), and at the end of the third day, the winner is the player with the most points.
However, players can draw special 'Action' cards which will manipulate the order of the line, so a noble can be rescued just before he or she is about to get ‘the chop’!
Despite it’s subject, ’Guillotine’ is a fun, strategy card game that can be enjoyed by adults and older children.
The cards are beautifully illustrated with humorous pictures.
