'Gettysburg' Board Game
125th Anniversary Edition by Avalon Hill- 1988
![]() |
'Gettysburg' is a classic war game by Avalon Hill, recreating the most decisive battle of the American Civil War.
The game is played by moving blue and grey units (counters) representing the infantry, cavalry and artillery formations on a detailed map board representing the actual terrain of the battlefield.
You can be General Robert E. Lee and command the hard-hitting Confederate Army of North Virginia…or General George G. Meade, and command the stubborn but unlucky Union Army of the Potomac in its greatest crisis.
Will history repeat itself or can it be changed? Your decisions will make the difference.
