Game Description:
This edition of 'Escalado', the classic table-top horse racing game, dates from the mid-1950s'. With metal horses and a winding mechanism that moves the horses down the track, it is almost as exciting as the real thing!
The game we currently have for sale, pictured on this page, is complete with the original box and painted metal horses. Apart from a few minor defects (see 'Condition' notes below), the game is in very good condition throughout.
Escalado games of this vintage are very hard to find in good, original condition so this is a rare chance to obtain an original, complete game.

The game is complete with the original metal horses. The horses have some paint loss (which is usual) but much less than normal are generally in very good condition. One of the horses has a neat repair to a hind leg and a two of the horses are a little wobbly, but for their age they are all very good.
The track comes complete with the original clamps and winding mechanism, which is in full working order. Apart from some slight staining from the metal studs (which again, is normal with this game) and a neat repair to one of the studs on the underside of the track, the track is in very good condition.
The box is in excellent condition with only minor wear.
