This book is the first volume of the vintage Dan Dare re-prints by Hawk Books, published in 1988.
This edition contains a re-print of every episode the very first Dan Dare comic strip story, 'Dan Dare - Pilot of the Future' from The Eagle comic. The story appeared in every edition of The Eagle, starting in April 1950 and running through to September 1951.
Every episode is illustrated by Frank Hampson, who devised and illustrated the famous comic strip.
The book we are selling, pictured on this page, is complete and in excellent condition, with only very minor edge wear to the cover. The pages are in perfect condition.
Hawk Books released 12 volumes in this series (we have several of the others for sale), which covered Dan Dare's adventures in chronological order. This edition was only
available in a softcover book.
