This is an original vintage Corgi 'Daktari' Gift Set, dating from the late 1960's It includes all the main characters from the TV series, including Clarence the cross-eyed lion, Dr. Marsh Tracy, Paula and Judy the chimp.
The set is totally original and is in superb condition - it even contains Clarence's spectacles, which are often missing from this set.
This is a rare chance to obtain an original 'Daktari' set in 'near mint' condition, complete with the 'first edition' box.

Notes:
The Land Rover is in virtually mint condition. Apart from a couple of pinprick marks to a raised edge, the paintwork is superb condition - bright and unmarked. It has the original undamaged Wameru Reserve transfer on the front of the cab.
It comes complete with the original 'first edition' box and inner display plinth. The box is in very good condition. There are a couple of small splits to the cellophane window and some creasing to the back of the box, but apart from this it is 'near mint' condition.
The plastic figures of Dr. Marsh Tracy, Paula, Clarence the lion and Judy the chimp are all original and in 'as new' condition.
