This Limited Edition, discontinued Corgi Aviation model is a superb 1/72nd scale diecast model of the Spitfire Mk. VIII flown by Wing Commander Robert Gibbes of No. 80 Wing of the Royal Australian Air Force, based at Sattler Field in 1944.
This model features high-quality detailing and a superb paint finish.
Only 2,610 of these models were released worldwide. This model is number 1730 and comes complete with the numbered Limited Edition Certificate.
The model we are currently selling, pictured on this page, is complete with the original box, stand and all accessories. Apart from a very minor mark to the base of box, the model is in mint condition. The model has only been removed from the box for display purposes.
