This discontinued Corgi Aviation model is a superb 1/72nd scale diecast replica of a De Havilland Mosquito (FB VI HR118) which served with 235 Squadron.
It features the distinct striped Coastal Command markings which Allied aircraft carried for the D-Day landings of 1944.
With a wing span of nearly 9" (23cm) and a host of high-quality detailing, this large-scale model sold out very quickly is now highly sought after.
Only 3,000 of these models were released worldwide, to commemorate the 60th anniversary of D-Day, and they now rarely come on to the secondhand market. This model is number 2331 and comes complete with the numbered Limited plaque on the base of the stand.
Features include optional landing gear (up or down), rotating propellers, and two detailed crew members in the cockpit.
The model we are currently selling, pictured on this page, is complete with the original box, stand and all accessories. Apart from storage wear to the box, is in mint condition. The model has only been removed from the box for display purposes.

The model and all accesories are in mint, 'as new' condition. The box has some minor storage wear (slight indentation to base) but apart from this is in excellent condition. The model comes complete with all of the original inner packaging.
