This discontinued Corgi Aviation model is a superb 1/72nd scale diecast replica of a Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress of 220 Squadron, RAF Coastal Command, based at Ballykelly in Northern Ireland in 1942.
This model was issued as a very limited edition of 1900. The model we are selling is number 556.
With a wing span of nearly 18" (50cm) and a host of high-quality detailing, this large-scale model sold out very quickly is now highly sought after on the second-hand market.
Features include optional landing gear (up or down), moveable wing flaps and tail rudder, rotating propellers, opening bomb doors and moveable gun turrets.
The model we are currently selling, pictured on this page, is complete and in superb 'as new' condition. It comes with the original box and inner packaging. It has only been removed from the box for display purposes.

The model and all accesories are in mint, 'as new' condition. The box has some very slight rubbing to the edges, but apart from this is in excellent condition. The model comes complete with all of the original inner packaging.
