'Circus Maximus' is a classic chariot racing board game, published by Avalon Hill in 1979.
There are 3 levels of play - a basic game, and advanced game and a campaign game. Players must equip their chariot and get the best out of their horses, while trying to take the best racing line around the track and avoiding crashes with their opponents. A classic racing game.
Good quality, complete copies of this game are now becoming increasingly hard to find.
The game we currently have for sale, pictured on this page, is complete and in excellent unused condition. The pad of 'Race Log' sheets is unused and the cardboard counters are unpunched.
