Description:
This is an original vintage 'Marks & Spencer' toy cash register (pre-decimal) dating from the late 1950's or early 1960's. Of metal construction, it comes with its original box and a few pre-decimal plastic coins.
The cash register is in full working order and, apart from some wear to the paint work, is in excellent condition. (See 'Condition' notes below).

The cash register has some paint loss to the edges of the base and few scratches (see pictures), but is otherwise in excellent condition. The keys, customer display and money drawer are all in full working order and the bell still rings when the money drawer opens.
The box is generally in excellent condition but unfortunately does have one of the lid flaps missing.
There are only 4 of the plastic pre-decimal coins remaining.
