Game Description:
'Buccaneer' is the classic Waddington's board game which gives players the chance to try their hand at commanding their own pirate ship on the high seas!
In production for over 60 years, the rules of the game were never changed, which is a testament to the quality of the original design.
Players travel the oceans trying to collect various types of treasure and get it back to their home port before their opponents. The first player to collect 20 points worth of treasure at their home port is the winner.
The game we currently have for sale, pictured on the right, is a 1976 edition. This edition is exactly the same game as the previous editions, with the addition of a 4-piece interlocking game board and plastic 'Treasure Chests' which enable players to keep their treasure, and therefore how many points they have accumulated in their home port, hidden from their opponents.
The game we are selling is in very good condition and has all of the original cards and treasure.

There is no serious storage wear to the box - just one small split at one corner and a couple of surface tears, where tape has been removed, on the underside. The game components (board, cards, ships and treasure) are all in very good condition with very little wear. The sails for the ships are missing but this does not affect the game play.
