Game Description:
'Buccaneer' is a Waddington's best-loved board games. In production from the 1930's until the 1980's, it was a family favourite for over 50 years.
The game is a race to collect various types of treasure, all of which has a different value,and get it back to your home port before your opponents.
Along the way you will have to deal with unexpected events (unfavourable winds, Yellow Fever etc.) and the risk of being attacked by your fellow pirates!
The winner is the first pirate to accumulate 20 points worth of treasure back at his home port.
The game we currently have for sale, pictured on this page, is a very rare 6-player edition from the 1950's. This edition was the last to come with the playing pieces contained in their own small box and a separate, heavyweight game board.
The game is complete with all of the original treasure (rubies, diamonds, pearls, gold bars and barrels of rum) and, apart from some minor wear, is in very good condition.

The game is complete and in very good condition throughout. It appears to have very little use (the cards are very clean and crisp) and is completely original.
The box has minor storage wear to the edges but is otherwise in excellent condition.
The heavyweight board has some rubbing to the corners and back of the board, and very minor wear to the spine, but is otherwise in excellent condition.
The ships, cards, treasure etc. are all in excellent condition.
